Chipmonk! is coming to Steam Q4 2019!
Along with the Steam release, itch.io will get an update! v1.1.
This release will include numerous new goodies such as the addition of in-game records, achievements, improved controller support, initials entry for highscores, boss health bars, and bugfixes. We will also be adding redeemable Steam keys here on itch.io, too!
Naturally, with the addition of the new features and the inclusion of Steam keys, we will be increasing the price slightly.
Now, it's back to bugtesting, the proper way...

I bought this game, and I thought improved controller support was all I needed. Can that also included improved fightstick support, wink wink.
Also, can y'all tell me what kind of joystick did you buy for that, I need to get me a batstick in my life - everyone loves the Japanese kind and I haaaate it.
Fightstick support would be excellent!
In the coming update (v1.1) 'unsupported' devices can actually be used to play, but they will have random button mappings. A fightstick should be useable… We are working towards in-game user customizable button mappings - to be released in a later update.
As for the joysticks, we’ll have to get back to you on that. We plan to be meeting with our friend, who knows more about that, this week.

Turns out the arcade was purchased used and we don’t know exactly what sticks are on there. The arcade setup uses I-PAC 2: https://www.ultimarc.com/ipac1.html
…and we think the hardware was acquired from the same store. We’re pretty sure the E-stik is what we are using.
